BizInSync was created during the 48 hours hackathon organised by the government of Singapore to tackle various challenges by their different departments. A two parts solution was created for the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA):

  • An interactive industry overview comparison graph tool, which shows which sector is growing or declining in Singapore by calculating their compound annual growth rate (CAGR). This will greatly help new entrepreneurs identify market size and disruption as well as potential growth.
  • A calculator that combines multiple APIs provided by the different departments of Singapore (One-map, Ministry of Manpower, Urban Redevelopment Authority, and so on) to enable new entrepreneurs to calculate the cost of starting a business in Singapore e.g. headcount salary, office location / rental rates, utility rates, material cost, inflation rates, etc.
